Ideal Textiles is a well-established online store, specialising in classic and modern designs of cushion covers, bedding and more. They are a leading force in the textiles eCommerce space. From their customer service to their supply chain, every element of their process is well considered.
Ideal Textiles approached Spectre’s eCommerce development services to plan and launch a new product – ‘Made To Measure’ curtains and blinds. To improve the design and customer experience further, a custom calculator feature had to be added to each new product page.
We designed and developed a custom Shopify application that on request creates, in real time, a unique “Made To Measure” product for each single use. This intelligent application automates the creation of sample products in a just-in-time format, reducing the number of unallocated products and deletes the product if the customer does not purchase.
When the product is purchased a dynamic order is created and submitted to suppliers for creation.
Spectre continues to work with Ideal Textiles to deliver Support and Maintenance on their website and enhance with new features and improvements.
