She has brought the very much needed colour, creativity and design expertise to the Spectre team. Read al about Laura below.
Tell us a little bit what you were doing before joining Spectre
Before joining Spectre I was working on a range of freelance projects after graduating from Gray’s School of Art in 2020. I also worked part time as an ice cream scooper at a cafe near where I stay
What’s your favourite thing about what you do?
I love that I can be creative at work and really enjoy working collaboratively on a range of different projects. It’s always fun seeing a project go from research to the final outcome
What do you do in your free time?
In my free time I enjoy being outdoors, bagging munros, spending time with friends, eating good food and messing about with my pottery wheel
What do you do to turn things around when you’re having a bad day?
If I’m having a bad day I find it really helps to put my headphones on, turn my music up and get some fresh air
What is the most unbelievable thing that’s ever happened to you?
Going to the Edinburgh Fringe and accidentally ending up on the One Show
What’s something you’ve done, but will never do again?
Probably when I climbed Ben Nevis overnight. It was miserable and there wasn’t much of a view in the dark!
Which actor would play you in a movie about your life?
I love the show Fleabag so maybe Phoebe Waller-Bridge would be fun
What’s one song you have completely memorised?
Kate Nash – Foundations
What’s the first concert you ever went to?
I think it was McFly when I was 11 (unless the Singing Kettle counts)
