Website Developer

As the ideal candidate, you will be a team player who has the ambition to drive eCommerce projects forward with the latest technologies that will keep our clients’ stores engaging and exciting to buy from.

You would need to have experience working with a team and presenting your ideas to a diverse group of colleagues to achieve the best outcomes.

Your role will be the production, modification and maintenance of e-commerce websites and applications working closely with both designers and developers.

We are looking for someone with around 2 years commercial experience working as a developer.

What you would be doing

  • Developing eCommerce websites and integrations.
  • Collaborating with team members to define and design new eCommerce experiences.
  • Helping our team and our clients see the latest opportunities for their business with modern web development technologies.
  • Developing eCommerce websites using the latest Javascript technologies and practices.
  • We are looking for
  • 2 years of commercial web development experience
  • A core understanding of core modern Javascript development principles.
  • React Knowledge.
  • Node.js knowledge.
  • Experience working MVC development principles
  • Good OO Design skills
  • Understanding of software patterns (SOLID)
  • Awareness of software development best practices
  • Comfortable with Git
  • Experience working with HTML, CSS / SASS
  • Understanding of Webpack/Gulp
  • Working with and reformatting content for the web.
  • Cross-browser and cross-device testing and debugging
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
  • Optimise applications for speed and scalability
  • Understanding and implementing front-end validation
  • Able to write scalable and modular code
  • Knowledge of browser feature support
  • Keeping your code clean, well organised, and DRY
