The team at Spectre Creative is expanding and we are looking for a Project Manager with a digital agency background. Someone who is curious about technology, has a desire to grow, and make an impact on not just the clients but meaningfully contribute to the continued success of the business. As a Project Manager at Spectre, you will use skills from both account and project management perspective to create an end-to-end product client experience.  It’s a dynamic role that requires communication, strategic thinking, and organisational expertise to build relationships and deliver projects on time and on budget.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Manage eCommerce web development implementation & consulting projects to drive success in achieving business & customer goals
  • Create and maintain project schedules and closely manage all related tasks and deliverables
  • Present status and budget reports to customers at regular intervals
  • Manage feedback meetings with clients
  • Track budgets, margins, schedules, and general project issues at all times
  • Identify and manage project risks throughout the project cycle
  • Create proposals, estimations and quotations for consulting and implementation services
  • Manage subcontractor agreements and work orders
  • Collaborate closely with the Design and Developer team to maximize use project output
  • Support our sales process through the presentation of our proven methodologies, best practices and quality management system where required
  • Regularly report internally and externally on all running projects.
  • Assist the wider agency team in securing opportunities, whilst owning and managing these throughout the proposal and planning process, by: 
  • Creating proposals for existing clients.
  • Assisting in the planning and scheduling of ad hoc work and site maintenance for existing clients.
  • Maintain oversight and management of retainers and support work on a day to day basis.
  • Work with the client and our team through planning to agree on the scope of work, in line with client objectives and whilst managing expectations. 
  • Partake in daily scrum stand-ups with the project teams to gain oversight on team progress as well as your own, whilst highlighting both task blockers and issues for yourself and the team.
  • Be comfortable presenting proposals, closing opportunities, and confidently briefing client requirements to your team; assigning roles and responsibilities when appropriate. 
  • Assist your digital production team across all projects from inception to completion and report to your line manager weekly.
  • Collaborate with the team to implement and manage profit improvement across accounts. Collaborate with the production team in managing a portfolio of existing accounts, ensuring regular contact with clients to build and develop relations.
  • Assisting in the planning and scheduling of ad hoc work and site maintenance for existing clients;

Key skills:

  • Two years minimum experience within a similar role, ideally in digital although we will consider similar industries for the right candidate. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and relationship management skills.
  • The ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Commercial awareness of project delivery, profit, loss, and margin retention.
  • Comfortable with both client and internal communication (verbally and written), particularly in requirement gathering and relay, budget/scope restrictions, and translation of technical language.
  • Exemplary time management; often working to time-sensitive deadlines.
  • The ability to prioritise your own workload as well as your clients.
  • A keen eye for detail and an eagerness to learn and improve your understanding of the latest technologies and processes in digital innovation. 

Beneficial skills:

  • An understanding of agile project management.
  • An appreciation and general knowledge of the importance of user experience (UX) within digital.
  • Experience with content management systems.

Salary: Up to £30,000pa with relevant experience

Minimum Criteria

Experience working with eCommerce/Website project management

3+ years experience working in a digital agency

Experience working with Jira.
